New office is devoted to creating Mac OS X applications; sends out call for programmers

Foothill Ranch, CA (June 1, 2001) - FrontBase, Inc., the developers of FrontBase™, the first scalable relational database for Mac OS X, today announced the opening of its Seattle office. The FrontBase Seattle office is dedicated to application development, with a focus on Cocoa OS X applications.

The first product to come out of the Seattle office, FrontBase Manager, was shown at WWDC. FrontBase Manager is a fully multi-threaded application for managing FrontBase databases remotely.

"We’re very excited about the programming talent we’ve brought to our Seattle team," said Geert Clemmensen, President and CEO of FrontBase, Inc. "Our Seattle team will focus on application development, which makes a perfect compliment to the Professional services and Support divisions in our Southern California and Denmark offices."

Call For Programmers

The new Seattle office also has openings for experienced application developers. Interested candidates should be familiar with Cocoa, Objective C and at least one relational database server. Previous application development experience is a big plus.
