4.9.5. Importing from other RDBMSs

While support for importing from other databases is not explicitly built-in to FrontBase, you may be able to import the schema and content from another database by modifying the MySQL migration tool.
The MySQL migration tool uses the JDBC adaptor for MySQL to read the schema and contents and uses the JDBC adaptor for FrontBase to write schema and contents. The tool is a Java program which runs from the command line. Source code is included with the tool.
